Business owner attempts mice infestation to competition

Upper Darby, PA (WVLT) -- If you owned your own business, just how far would you go to beat your compeition? One man in Pennsylvania took it beyond the legal limits.

Nicholas Galiatsatos planted mice inside of his rival restaurants, hoping they would become infested. His pizzeria wasn't picking up business, so this was his plan to take care of it.

The owner of one of the competing restaurants saw him walk into his bathroom with a bag, then walk out without it. That owner checked the bathroom after he left, only to find a bag of mice planted above a bathroom stall. Another competing pizzeria found the same kind of mice inside of a bag in one of their trash cans.

Police say Galiatsatos purchased the mice from a pet store. He faces charges of Criminal Mischief and Harrassment.
