19 year-old left at bar returning to Illinois Thursday

TAZEWELL, Tenn. (WVLT) -- The 19 year-old special needs woman who was left at a Caryville bar late last month will head back to Illinois on Thursday. But Lynn Cameron won't be returning to the mother who abandoned her at the Big Orange Bar without any identification and unable to tell anyone who she is. Instead, she will be remanded to the state's care.

Her new legal guardians were in a Claiborne Co. courtroom Wednesday morning ironing out the details of her transfer back to her home state. Cameron lived in the Chicago suburb of Algonquin; she had been staying at the Michael Dunn facility in Roane Co.

While a representative from the Dept. of Human Services did not comment on the case, the Campbell Co. District Attorney, who said previously that Lynn's mother Eva Cameron would not face charges, indicated he is looking into charging her.
