KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT)-- Friday February 4, 2011 is the day to wear red to show your support in the fight against heart disease. It is the number one killer in women across the United States which makes it important for everyone to know about heart health.
Linda Cox-Collier from Mercy Health Partners told us that Mercy and the American Heart Association have joined forces to spread the word. "Go Red for Women" is just one way to get the community aware of heart disease in Knoxville.
