It's the beginning of Thanksgiving week which means the holiday season is sneaking up! Also, with the holidays comes family and friends usually showing up at your house! If you want to make the best of your time with visitors, we have some family fun activities going on this week!
"Babes in Toyland Parade"-- Wednesday November 24th at 7:00 p.m. in the Convention Center.
Join Bob and Michele as they emcee the season's first indoor and outdoor parade. It's led by the Powell High School marching band and includes Santa with his elves.
"Fantasy of Trees"-- Wednesday is the start of "The Fantasy of Trees" and continues through Sunday. The Convention Center is full of trees decorated in different themes by different people in the community. All proceeds benefit The East Tennessee Children's Hospital.
Regal Cinemas "Celebration of Lights"-- Friday, November 26th at 6:30 p.m. Downtown Knoxville. Watch the 38 foot Christmas tree light up for the first time this season. Enjoy free hot coco, carriage rides, pictures with Santa and tons of children activities. There's something for everyone at this celebration.
Market Square "Ice Skating"-- Friday, November 26th to Sunday, January 2nd. An actual ice skating rink is in the middle of Market Square where people can bundle up and skate! Times and days vary so check out their website for more information.
"Smoky Mountain Christmas at Dollywood"-- Times and dates vary through the month. Dollywood has been transformed into a winter wonderland with over 4 million lights with music throughout the park.
"Christmas on the Titanic"-- Times and dates vary. Nothing says Christmas like snow and you can find it at the Titanic where the whole ship is decorated inside and out!
