Knoxville, TN (WVLT) -- HonorAir is now welcoming Korean War Veterans to their organization. Eddie Mannis visited our studio this morning to tell us about it.
HonorAir Knoxville is a group dedicated to honoring our area's World War II and Korean War veterans. Their goal is to fly as many HonorAir members as possible to Washington DC so they can see memorials built in their honor. It is an all-expense paid trip to DC (full of tours, etc.) and back in one day. They make the trip twice a year. The next flight is scheduled for April in 2011.
Financial contributions are welcome and are tax deductible.
For more information on how to get involved with HonorAir Knoxville call (865) 938-7701.
