Sevierville group collects goods for hurricane victims

SEVIERVILLE, Tenn (WVLT) -- Hurricane Isaac is still raging on the Gulf Coast, and local people are coming to the aid, including a non-profit organization called The Lord's Child out of Sevierville.

The group is hosting a hurricane relief/preparedness collection called Project Storehouse at area Walmart Locations.

Collection sites include the Walmart locations in Turkey Creek, Sevierville, and East Towne from 5:00pm - 9:00 pm today through Saturday.

Project Storehouse will deliver the supplies and restock ministries and food pantries in the gulf that were depleted from the storm.
