Portland, OR (WVLT) -- Imagine coming home to find out a stranger is in your bathroom and taking a shower. It may seem alarming, but an Oregon intruder was so afraid, he called 911!
There are no answers into why he broke into the home. He claims he was kidnapped and said he just needed a place to shower, but it turned out to be bad timing. When the owner came home, Timothy Chapek (the intruder) locked himself in the bathroom and called 911, fearing she had a gun. The homeowner was not armed, but certainly not intimidated.
Soundbites from 911 calls of both the intruder and the homeowner can be heard in the attached video.
