MADISONVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- A Monroe County man died after being ejected from his pickup truck Tuesday night in Madisonville.

According to an accident report by the Tennessee Highway Patrol, 41-year-old Christopher Crowder was driving south on Griffith Branch Rd in Madisonville in a 1991 Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck when he ran off the road around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The report says Crowder overcorrected when returning to the road, causing the truck to flip over and hit an embankment.

Crowder was ejected from the the truck and died on the scene.

The report says he was not wearing a seat belt at the time
