NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Five clouded leopard cubs are now on display at the Nashville Zoo.

They are now 3 and 4 months old and described by zoo officials as very rambunctious. They will be on display through the end of summer when they will be moved off exhibit and paired with potential breeding mates.

Clouded leopards are considered endangered because of deforestation, poaching and the pet trade. Since 2009, 12 cubs have been born at the zoo's off-exhibit facility.

The zoo is a partner with the National Zoo in Washington, D.C., in a clouded leopard consortium.
