Dallas, TX (WVLT) -- Most of us are believers in love at first sight, especially when it comes to choosing our pets.
Teresa Berg, a professional photographer, realized the importance of this while she was shopping online for a shelter dog. Most of the pictures were fuzzy or low quality where she couldn't even see some of the detail of the animals. That's when she offered her talent and services to the Texas shelter.
Instead of taking a simple picture of the dog, she set up their photo shoots to show that dog's connection to people. After her photos were posted with the animals' profiles online, the shelter's adoption rate soared.
Teresa says it makes her feel like she's doing something good for someone she's never even met.
