Kids are out of school, so we're getting them involved to make Memorial Day decorations.
What you need:
- Tissue paper (red, white, and blue)
- Wire coat hanger
Bend the wire coat hanger so the hook is up, but the frame is in a circle.
Cut the paper in strips, each a couple inches or so wide. Tape two strips along the edge of the wire back-to-back.
I chose to do a red, white, and blue pattern with my strips of paper.
This will look like a wind sock type decoration that you can hang in a tree or from the bottom of the lights outside of your home.
* If you use plastic table cloths and tape or glue for the outdoors, then this decoration will last longer and through anything Mother Nature has planned.
