KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT)-- It's coming down to the wire to buy Christmas gifts! Luckily, some store are extending their hours to accommodate these late shoppers.

Bronwyn Shupe and her mother Sandra Hatcher are doing a little last minute shopping and lucky for them Toys R Us has been open 24 hours since Tuesday.

Those hours have helped this mother and daughter shopping duo grab some last minute deals.

Bronwyn says "We saw the Nerf system and it half off so that brought us out here."

However, deals isn't the only motivation for shoppers; others are trying to find that certain special gift. Audrey Baker has been looking for the past couple of days for a special Power Ranger toy for her son. But, it seems to be out of stock in the area.

So it seems that last minute shopping isn't for everyone especially those looking for something special. However, some just love the thrill of it all.
