Wedding chapels get ready for busy weekend

Barrow County Sheriff's Deputy Chris Hulett, 29, kisses his new bride, Keni Carter,26, for the first time as husband and wife in the chapel of Athens Regional Medical Center in Athens. The Huletts cherish their time together, including the long kiss that followed their wedding ceremony. Death likely will take Chris from Keni in a matter of days.

SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT)-- Romance is in the air this weekend as area wedding chapels get ready for a busy couple of days!

The Sweet Heart Chapel provides affordable weddings in different locations around Sevier County.

They say Valentine's Day is always busy but this year things have picked up a bit.

Rev. James Chambers, owner of The Sweet Heart Chapel, "So far we think it will compete with 1-1-11 that was next to impossible."

Even though they are booked; The Sweet Heart Chapel rarely turns couples down especially in the wee hours of the night. They are open 24 hours a day!
