Sierra Vista, Ariz. (AP) -- Some grandmothers bake cookies. Some like to knit. But authorities in Arizona say Leticia Villareal Garcia isn't one of those grandmas.
Villareal could get more than 12 years behind bars when she's sentenced this month for hauling marijuana. State troopers found more than 200 pounds of the drug hidden in the trunk of her car when they stopped her last year.
She was convicted this week after jurors rejected her claim that she'd been used as a "mule" to unknowingly carry the drugs.
Prosecutors say she knew all about the marijuana, and was running drugs to make money to feed her bingo addiction.
