Pants Bandit On The Prowl In Florida

Boynton Beach, Fla. (AP) -- Police in Florida are on the lookout for what may be a serial pants bandit.

Since early October, at least four people have been targeted by armed robbers demanding they hand over their pants.

The latest incident occurred early Thursday in Boynton Beach.

In one of the earlier holdups, authorities say a man was shot after refusing to give his pants to thieves who pulled up in a car. He survived.

In another case, a man told police a car pulled up and a passenger with a gun told him he liked his pants, then took them.

Police are investigating whether the cases are related.
