Atlanta (AP) -- It's still not clear whether the food will be kosher, but Hooters is expanding to Israel.
The Atlanta-based restaurant chain known for its tasty wings and scantily clad servers has struck a franchise deal to open the first outlet in Tel Aviv later this year. Plans call for more Hooters to be located in other locations.
A spokesman says they will all feature the same tight, skimpy waitress outfits, wings and burgers, with adjustments made according to food availability and local tastes. He adds that as of now there are no known religious concerns about Hooters opening in Israel.
