Pullman, Wash. (AP) -- Police in Washington state are holding a man suspected of stealing as many as 1500 women's undergarments.
They say the evidence fills five garbage bags weighing 93 pounds.
One police commander in Pullman says the suspect "said he has a problem."
Witnesses allegedly spotted 24-year-old Garth Flaherty taking underwear from two laundry rooms at an apartment complex. Flaherty was identified by photographs.
Now police are concerned about matching the goods to the victims. One wondered, "would you really want them back?"
