Columbus, Ohio (AP) -- An Ohio State fan is passing on that legacy to his newborn son by naming him after a pair of Buckeye coaches, current coach Jim Tressel and the legendary Woody Hayes.
So the new addition to the Huffines family now bears the name Tressel Hayes Huffines.
Says the new dad, whose name is Brent,"Tressel Hayes Huffines, sounds as sweet as an OSU victory over Michigan."
Birth records show at least six Ohio parents have named a child Tressel since 2003.
Huffines says it "assures the Buckeye tradition stays in the family," noting, "can you imagine someone named Tressel Hayes going to Michigan for college?"
