Would-Be Robber Says Needed Money To Rent A Tux

Nashville (AP) -- Police in Nashville have arrested two young men and a youth in a plot to rob a pizza delivery driver.

Detectives put a magnetic pizza sign on an unmarked car after a pizza shop got a call from a pay phone used in a previous robbery.

Officers arrested two suspects who were walking up and down the street, waiting for the pizza delivery driver to get out of his car. They also took into custody a man who was behind the wheel of a car parked in an alley.

The minor, he's 17, admitted being part of the plot and said he needed money to rent a tuxedo for his school's prom. He had a BB pistol in his pocket.

All three suspects are charged with conspiracy to commit aggravated robbery.
