JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (AP) -- Johnson City police have charged a man who tried to evade them on a scooter.
Charges of third-offense DUI and reckless endangerment were filed early Tuesday against 29-year-old Danny Davis. He was arrested at an apartment complex after running there when his passenger jumped off the scooter, causing it to overturn.
The Johnson City Press reported Davis also faced charges of driving on a revoked license, felony evading arrest, wearing no helmet and a registration violation. He was due in court later Tuesday.
