JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (AP) -- Would you buy a used car from these seniors?
A sign propped under the raised hood promised "Quality Used Cars."
But the signs, the balloons and the streamers -- OK, toilet paper -- were in the sophomore and junior parking lot at Science Hill High School on Thursday. It was the Class of 2012 senior prank.
The seniors may have undersold their idea to Principal Melanie Riden-Bacon. The Johnson City Press reported administrators approved the signs, but didn't hear anything about cars being decorated or the prank being done during school hours.
She said the matter will be handled "administratively," but said she won't stop participants from receiving their diplomas at the school's commencement exercise June 2.
Senior Brennon Ricker said next year's senior prank can't be as good.
