Chopper Carrying Pakistan's President Crashes

MUZAFFARABAD, Pakistan (AP) -- One of three helicopters escorting Pakistan's president has crashed in the disputed territory of Kashmir.

Four people have been killed but officials say Pervez Musharraf was aboard another chopper and reached his destination safely. A senior government official says the president's spokesman is among several people injured.

The helicopter was one of three taking Musharraf to commemorations marking two years since an earthquake that killed nearly 80,000 people.

On Saturday, Musharraf swept a presidential election. He has to wait for a Supreme Court ruling on his eligibility for office to find out whether he will win a new five-year term.
