KINSHASA, Congo (AP) -- A U.N.-funded radio station in Congo says 13 people are dead in a soccer riot sparked over allegations a player was using witchcraft during a friendly local match.
Radio Okapi reported that most of the victims were between the ages of 11 and 16. They were suffocated during the mayhem Sunday in Butembo in eastern Congo's North Kivu province.
