SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico (AP) -- Four people are dead in incidents linked to heavy rain from a tropical disturbance that has drenched Puerto Rico. Police say two people drowned in the flooding caused by more than 2 feet of rain that has fallen in parts of the U.S. Caribbean territory. Two heart attack deaths are also blamed on the weather.
Puerto Rico's governor says another foot or more of rain could fall in the next day or so.
The tropical system, which is not expected to develop into a tropical storm or hurricane any time soon, is expected to slowly move north toward the Bahamas.
