PESHAWAR, Pakistan (AP) -- Police say a car bomb has exploded in the Pakistani city of Peshawar and killed at least six people.
Police official Amanullah Khan said the bomb exploded Friday evening in a busy shopping area of the city. Khan said at least 25 people were injured.
Television footage showed chaotic scenes as residents sought to help victims bloodied by the explosion. The blast tore the facade from several buildings and set fire to vehicles in the streets.
