(WVLT) -- The NCAA is interested in speaking with former Tennessee running back Bryce Brown about Lane Kiffin's recruiting practices, ESPN is reporting.
According to the report, Bryce's father, Arthur, has delayed Brown's meeting with the NCAA until his appeal with UT for a release from his scholarship has gone through.
Brown is hoping the appeal will grant him a release so he can immediately go on scholarship at Kansas State.
“Bryce has tried to express why they should reverse the decision,” Arthur Brown told ESPN.com. “We expressed how he has felt. We laid out a lot about our family’s struggles with illnesses and stresses. I feel we made a good case for an overturn.”
