GREENVILLE, S.C. (WVLT) -- For those that care about stars, Tennessee picked up a big one Sunday evening.
J.L. Mann High School (Greenville, SC) safety Pat Martin committed to play for the Vols. Martin picked Tennessee over South Carolina and LSU. He also had offers from Oklahoma and UCLA.
"When I went down there, they didn't press me to commit. They always were like a family," Martin told Sports Overtime. "Coaches were always truthful. When I first visited there, I fell in love. The facilities there, you can't go wrong with Tennessee. If you go there and work hard and do all that stuff you should be successful. That's the main reason why I picked Tennessee."
Martin is Dooley's 14th commitment for the class of 2011. A four-star prospect, as of right now, he's also the most highly rated.
