KNOXVILLE (UTSports.com) -- With the 2010 football season right around the corner, Tennessee Athletics invites fans to "Meet Your Seats" at Neyland Stadium this week from Wednesday through Friday. Fans have the opportunity to take a first-hand look at available seats in Neyland Stadium with the chance to purchase 2010 season tickets for home games against Oregon, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Kentucky, UT Martin and UAB.
"We initially hosted the first `Meet Your Seats' in June, and it was very well received," said Mike Hamilton, Director of Men's Athletics. "The idea is to continue to take a personal approach to serving the needs of our customers. This gives interested fans a chance to come to Neyland Stadium, smell the fresh cut grass of Shields-Watkins Field, visit with a staff member and test-drive the actual seats.
"It's a special experience to attend a game at Neyland Stadium. This approach gives fans a chance to feel some of that game day excitement."
"Meet Your Seats" is an opportunity for Tennessee fans who do not currently have football season tickets to come to Neyland Stadium during lunch or after work and look at seat options for the 2010 season. Fans will be able to see their options and sit in the seats before committing to season tickets.
Fans interested in Tennessee Terrace seating will have the opportunity to tour the Terrace slated to open this season. Free parking is available in the G-10 garage, located on Phillip Fulmer Way and adjacent to Thompson-Boling Arena and Neyland Stadium. Once parked, fans can follow posted signs to Gate 9 in order to enter the stadium.
