LENOIR CITY (WVLT) – David Warfield of Dayton won this weekend's Wal-Mart Bass Fishing League event hosted by Lakes Loudoun and Tellico.
Warfield's 2-day total was 16 lbs, 12 ounces.
The Volunteer Division of the $8.8 million Wal-Mart Bass Fishing League visited Fort Loudoun-Tellico Lakes in Lenoir City Sept. 29-30 for its final regular-season event. Roughly 200 boaters and 200 co-anglers competed in the tournament, which awarded as much as $67,500 in cash, including a top award of $9,000 in the Boater Division.
