KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Tennessee center Cody Pope continues to be evaluated on a day-to-day basis. Pope did not practice Monday or Tuesday, as he continues to deal with concussion like symptoms. If Pope doesn't go Saturday, look for Darren Gooch to get the start at center.

Kicker Michael Palardy is also day-to-day. Palardy is nursing a groin injury.

The Vols continue to be without the services of senior wide receiver Gerald Jones. Jones is recovering from a broken hand he suffered in the season opener against Tennessee-Martin.
