KNOXVILLE (WVLT) -- As the Vols head into a Saturday showdown with UAB, several injured players continue to recover.

Wide receiver Gerald Jones will miss Saturday's game with a broken bone in his hand suffered in Tennessee's loss to Oregon. Jones could be back in time for the Oct. 2 game at LSU.

Offensive linemen Cody Pope and Jerquari Schofield are also expected to miss the UAB game with head and foot injuries, respectively.
