Parkwest Medical Center Injury Report

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Tennessee starting wide receiver Gerald Jones has returned to practice.

Jones practiced for the first time Tuesday afternoon after a month off because of a broken bone in his hand suffered during the UT-Martin game.

The senior from Oklahoma is expected to play when the Vols visit #12 LSU Saturday for a 3:30 kickoff.

Tailback Tauren Poole (deep thigh bruise), linebacker Herman Lathers (ankle) and cornerback Art Evans (ankle) also returned to practice.

Poole (deep thigh bruise) was knocked out of the game against UAB, while Lathers and Evans missed it all together. All three are listed as day-to-day and are likely to see action Saturday.

Derek Dooley said Monday afternoon that he doesn't believe offensive linemen Cody Pope (head) and JerQuari Schofield (foot) will play against the Tigers.

Defensive linemen Marlon Walls and Ben Martin continue to stay sidelined with Achilles' injuries.
