The Birmingham Big Orange Club and the Birmingham Chapter of the UT Alumni Association, cordially invite you to join the festivities at this year’s BEAT BAMA PEP RALLY on Friday, October 19th beginning at 5:30pm.
We are proud to announce the speaker for the evening will be Bob Kesling, The Voice of the Volunteer Network. Bob will give an update on the team and will provide an insider’s analysis of what we can expect when the Volunteers meet the Crimson Tide the next day in Tuscaloosa.
Bring your camera and children as other special guest will be The University of Tennessee Cheerleaders and Smokey. The Luke Ford Bluegrass Trio will be providing entertainment, which of course includes playing Rocky Top and all your other bluegrass favorites.
The first 250 fans to arrive will receive a FREE Big Orange collector’s cup and a special treat.
The meeting will be at Johnny Ray’s Barbecue in the Colonnade located at 3431 Colonnade Parkway, Birmingham, AL 35243. Registration begins at 5:30PM and a special Johnny Rays barbecue buffet of pork, chicken, baked beans, slaw, and drinks, will be served at 6:30 PM. The price of the event and dinner will be $10 for adults. Children 10 and under are free.

Football TV Viewing Party – TN vs. AL
If you are not going to the game, join the Birmingham Big Orange Club at the Fox and Hound to watch the Volunteers battle the Crimson Tide. We have reserved a private smoke free room equipped with two 8’ Hi-Def projection screens and multiple other televisions. So come on out and enjoy some great food while cheering the VOLS on to victory.
The Fox and Hound is located at 3425 Colonnade Parkway, just around the corner from Johnny Rays. Game time for this year’s “Third Weekend in October” is 2:30 pm central time.
