MARYVILLE (WVLT) - Maryville quarterback Brent Burnette overcame the shoulder injury he suffered last week against Central, passing for 245 yards and four touchdowns as Maryville rolled against West, 35-21.

The Red Rebels (7-0) stormed out to a 28-7 halftime lead over West (3-4), who was unable to score enough second-half points to mount a serious comeback.

Tyler Clendenen caught two of Burnette's touchdown tosses and also returned a punt for a touchdown in the second quarter to help the Red Rebels bolster their undefeated record. The 14-point win over West was Maryville's second-closest of the season -- two weeks ago they edged William Blount, 20-19.

The Red Rebels visit South-Doyle next weekend, while West hosts Clinton.
