KNOXVILLE (WVLT) -- Freshman cornerback Dennis Rogan will return punts for Tennessee Saturday against Lousiana-Lafayette, Phillip Fulmer announced Tuesday at his weekly media day press conference.

Rogan replaces senior safety Jonathan Hefney, who has returned punts since his freshman season. Hefney was an effective returner last year, but has only averaged 6.4 yards per return this season.

Rogan has not returned a punt this season, but has returned four kickoffs for 108 yards, an average of 27 yards per runback.
