KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) --Candace Parker scored 13 points, leading four Lady Vols in double figures, to help top-ranked Tennessee beat Louisiana Tech 81-60 on Monday night.
Nicky Anosike and Shannon Bobbitt added 13 points each and Angie Bjorklund had 12 for the Lady Vols(5-0).
Whitney Jones led the unranked Lady Techsters (2-2) with 16 points in the 40th meeting of a long-standing rivalry.
Tennessee jumped on Louisiana Tech by hitting eight of their first nine 3-pointers. The Lady Vols built a 31-point halftime lead and were never threatened.
Louisiana Tech was unnerved by Tennessee's defense, which scored 28 points off 24 Lady Techster turnovers. The Lady Vols held Louisiana Tech to 27 percent first-half shooting and 32 percent for the game.
JoKeirra Sneed added 15 points and 18 rebounds for Louisiana Tech. Shanavia Dowdell was the only other Lady Techster in double figures with 11.

-The scoring was evenly spread as eight Lady Vols scored at least four points before halftime and all Big Orange players who saw playing time scored in the game.
-Tennessee’s defense held the Lady Techsters to 26 first-half points on 26.5% shooting from the field – both were season-lows for UT opponents

-Her season-high seven assists moved her past Chamique Holdsclaw and into 10th place in the UT record books for career assists (389).
-Grabbed a career-high 16 rebounds, including seven in the first half… It was the first double-digit rebounding performance of her career.
-Her 16 rebounds were the fourth-most by a Tennessee freshman
-Scored the first points of the game for UT for the third game this season.
-Scored in double figures for the fifth time this season and the 72nd time of her career.
-Became the first Lady Vol to reach double digits in the game tonight
-Scored in double figures for the second time this season.
-The shortest player in Lady Vol history (5-2) earned her first career block
-Scored double-digits for the second time this season and the 18th time in her career.
-Scored a career-high nine points, all of which came in the first half on three-of-four shooting from beyond the arc.
