Quarles to Coach in All-American Game

(WVLT) -- Maryville head football coach George Quarles has been selected as an assistant coach at the 2008 U.S. Army All-American Bowl, which will be held Jan. 5 in the Alamodome in San Antonio.

Quarles has led Maryville to 58 straight victories and, this season, a national ranking. The Rebels (13-0) host Sullivan South Friday in the 4A state semifinals.

    I think coach Quarles will do a great job at that game and get some well deserved recognition. He is a great coach and he deserves it.
