Badgers Coach Says Wisconsin Has Its Work Cut Out For Them

December 3, 2007

KNOXVILLE (AP) -- Wisconsin football coach Bret Bielema says his Badgers have their work cut out for them in the Outback Bowl against Tennessee.

He describes the January 1st game in Tampa as a classic Big 10-SEC matchup.

The Badgers traveled to the Capitol One Bowl last season, winning 17-14 over Arkansas, which had lost earlier to Florida in the SEC championship game.

Tennessee and Wisconsin have faced each other only once before. The Vols won the 1981 Garden State Bowl 28-21, when Phillip Fulmer was the defensive line coach for Tennessee and Bielema was 11 years old.
