(WVLT) -- Former Tennessee point guard C.J. Watson signed a 10-day contract with the Golden State Warriors earlier this week and will likely practice Tuesday, according to GoVolsXtra.
Watson has been playing with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers of the NBA Development League, posting a 26.4 points-per-game average. He is expected to be a backup for star point guard Baron Davis.
Watson played for Tennessee from 2003 until 2006; his senior year coincided with Bruce Pearl's first year at Tennessee.
