NASCAR Is "Talking About" Changing Minimum Age for Its Sprint Cup Drivers

Charlotte, NC (WVLT) -- The 2008 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Media Tour hosted by Lowes Motor Speedway is underway.

Starting Monday afternoon and lasting thru Thursday afternoon, over 200 members of the media will visit with Sprint Cup, Nationwide, and Craftsman Truck Series teams, drivers, and owners.

Today, at NASCAR'S Research and Development facility, NASCAR officials talked about the upcoming 2008 season. Among the items of discussion, the possibility of raising minimum age of Sprint Cup drivers from 18 to 21. Click on the above video icon to see Sports Overtime's Monday report.
