UT men, women both end regular season in top five

(WVLT) -- Both the Tennessee men's and women's basketball teams finished the regular season in the top five in the AP poll, while the men came in sixth in the ESPN/USA Today poll, released Monday.

The Lady Vols finished third in the AP poll and did not receive any first-place votes. Connecticut and North Carolina ranked ahead of Pat Summitt's squad.

The men finished immediately behind Wisconsin in the ESPN/USA Today poll; North Carolina, UCLA and Memphis all received first-place votes.

Tennessee and Wisconsin swapped places in the AP poll, giving the Vols a top-five finish.
