41 teams attend annual KFOA Media Day

Knoxville, Tenn. (WVLT/Submitted) -- Believe it or not, we are five weeks out
from the start of the 2013 high school football
season. Teams are coming together already
and will begin full practice on July 29th.
Friday ;however, was reserved for talking, and plenty of it at the annual Knoxville Football Officials Association media day.
The event was held at Three Ridges golf course and featured teams from Alcoa to Wartburg. Some 80 were players on hand and
each excited to be playing high school football here in East Tennessee.
This years Knox county jamboree is scheduled for August 15th at Neyland Stadium. One week later it's our Rivalry Thursday opener featuring state champs Fulton at Powell on August 22nd on MyVLT!
