KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – Diehard University of Tennessee Volunteer football fans have undoubtedly heard about the new scoreboard now perched atop Neyland Stadium.
On Wednesday night, downtown Knoxville and the UT Campus were treated to a lightshow from the HD board which measures 124 feet long and 37 feet tall.
Only colors were being shown on the giant board, but they were bright enough to illuminate the whole stadium. Callers to the WVLT Volunteer TV newsroom reported the colors could be seen as far away as Bearden Hill in West Knoxville.
Volunteer TV’s “Vol View” camera mounted on the top of Baptist Riverside caught a clear view of the show. You can watch it by clicking on the attached video.
