TITANS CARAVAN X ROLLS APRIL 18

Celebrating its 10th year of visiting the NFL’s best fans, the Allstate “Good Hands” Titans Caravan hits the road Wednesday, April 18.
“As a big fan of anniversaries, I’m very excited about this being the 10th year of our annual Titans Caravan,” said team Owner and Founder K.S. “Bud” Adams, Jr. “The Caravan is one of the most important fan initiatives we have throughout the year and its mission remains the same – to thank the best fans in the NFL for the tremendous support given to the Titans.”
This year’s Caravan focuses on those special moments in neighborhoods across the region, when Titans fans young and old get to meet a Titans player. As part of that emphasis, the Allstate “Good Hands” Titans Caravan X will feature five days when a second group of players and staff are on the road to visit with fans.
“The 10th Titans Caravan represents a special milestone for the organization,” said Titans Executive Vice President Don MacLachlan. “We have so many outstanding young players on our roster. We wanted as many fans as possible this year to have the chance to get an autograph and shake the hand of one of the players they enjoy watching every Sunday.”
The Allstate “Good Hands” Titans Caravan features public visits in major mid south communities Birmingham, Chattanooga, Clarksville, Florence, Huntsville, Johnson City, Knoxville, Memphis, and Paducah. All told, Titans fans in some 29 communities will have the chance to meet Titans players, including first-time public stops in Ashland City, Waynesboro and Woodbury, TN and Cadiz, KY.
The public stops will again be presented by Titans Radio partners across the region. Allstate Insurance Company agents will co-host the public stops as the company joins the Caravan family as the Allstate “Good Hands” Titans Caravan X title sponsor.
“Allstate is thrilled to partner with the Tennessee Titans and Titans Radio in bringing the Caravan to so many communities,” said Allstate Insurance Company Director of Marketing Kerry Nations. “The Allstate Agents who live and work in these communities are excited to be able to bring the Tennessee Titans to their fans. Our agents are proud that they can help bring a little bit of Game Day excitement to their hometown.”
Now celebrating the 75th anniversary of the founding of Allstate Insurance Company, The Allstate Corporation (NYSE: ALL) is the nation’s largest publicly held personal lines insurer. Widely known through the “You’re In Good Hands With Allstate®” slogan, Allstate helps individuals in approximately 17 million households protect what they have today and better prepare for tomorrow through approximately 14,100 exclusive agencies and financial professionals in the U.S. and Canada.
Kroger will continue its decade-long partnership with Titans Caravan hosting five stops across the mid state region.
In addition to public stops, Allstate Insurance agents will also be part of the Titans “Join The Team” Community Kickoff Luncheons. This marks the second year for these unique, “behind-the scenes” events, hosted by the local Titans Radio Partner, which raise money for five area United Ways.
These luncheons will occur in Bowling Green, Columbia, Cookeville, Jackson and Morristown and Titans fans will get the chance to hear from a Titans executive on the draft, free agency as well as the modern NFL. Titans players, cheerleaders, broadcasters and the Titans mascot T-Rac will also greet fans at each luncheon, which are emceed by the “Voice of the Titans” Mike Keith.
Silent auction items and door prizes will also be part of the event with 100 percent of the proceeds raised going to the local United Way office.
“The NFL encourages fans to get out and support the work of local organizations by joining the team,” said Adams. “These luncheons are just one way we can all help our friends and neighbors. I am so appreciative of the support Titans fans showed last year during these inaugural luncheons.”
The Allstate “Good Hands” Titans Caravan X schedule also features “Join the Team” work parties. For the second consecutive year, Titans players and staff will work hand-in-hand with staff and clients of non-profit organizations in five communities to complete work projects designed by those local organizations. School and hospital visits round out the 10th-season schedule.
“We cannot make it to every community in the region, but we encourage fans to find the stop closest to them, bring the kids, and come visit us,” said MacLachlan. “There is nothing in pro sports like the Allstate “Good Hands” Titans Caravan.”
