Knoxville (WVLT) -- Funeral arrangements are now in place for legendary Bearden High School football coach Bill Wilson.

The Wilson family will receive friends this Thursday evening at Washington Pike United Methodist Church from 5-8. Washington Pike United Methodist is located at 2241 Washington Pike in Knoxville. A memorial service will immediately follow.

Coach Wilson will be laid to rest on Friday during a private family ceremony.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bearden High School Field House Building Fund.
