(WVLT) - Powell's High School Softball Coach is being investigated linked to a report he may have had an improper relationship with a female student.
Matthew Matz was placed on administrative leave earlier this week according to a Knox County Schools Spokesperson.

Matthew Matz is in his second year of employment with Knox County Public Schools, and the Department of Children's Services has been notified of the allegations according to Russ Oaks, Knox County Schools Spokesperson.
