Updated: Adam "Pacman" Jones Meets With NFL's Commissioner

Suspended Tennessee Titans Cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones has made his case to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell for some leniency. Now he has to wait and see if it worked.

Jones' hearing concluded Friday afternoon in New York.
This was his second hearing with the Commissioner since April 3rd, and he is hoping he convinced Goodell to ease his season-long suspension from the NFL.

A decision is not expected today.
Goodell took a week before suspending Jones for the 2007 season last month for conduct detrimental to the league.

It couldn't have helped Jones' case that the league knew about a speeding ticket he picked up monday morning in nashville.
He is accused of going 75 miles-per-hour in a 55-mile-per-hour zone on Interstate 65 shortly after midnight when caught on police radar.

The Commissioner had warned Jones earlier that this was his last chance to salvage his NFL career.

During the speeding incident, Nashville police spokesman Don Aaron also says Jones was also cited for not having his driver's license with him.

Pacman's currently under NFL suspension for various run-ins with police.

And other published reports suggest Goodell handed down such a tough punishment on Jones in part because hours before a previous meeting to determine Jones' ininital fate in early April, the Tennessee Titan visited an Adult Entertainment Estalishment In New York City.
Adult Entertainment Establishments in other city's have led to at least a few of Pacman's other recent brushes with the law.
