Knoxville, TN (WVLT-TV), There was plenty of high school football action taking place Friday, both on and off the field. Friday morning at Three Ridges Golf Course, the KFOA or Knoxville Football Officials Association held it's annual Media Day. Nearly 30 schools participated giving these youngsters some great exposure while allowing area media a chance to learn a little bit more about the young men they'll be covering this Fall.
Then Friday night at Webb school, it was the annual Tennessee Orthopedic Clinic Passing League wrapping with Central and Fulton playing for the title. The Bobcats jumped out to an 18-12 halftime lead and go on to ground the Falcons by a final of 30-26. Also Friday it was Powell defeating Kings Acad. 31-8, Webb over Seymour 27-6 and Alcoa over Karns 30-26. Be sure to click on above link for highlights of tonight's game.
