(Sports Overtime) -- Sources close to the UT football department have told your Sports Overtime team that freshman defensive end Ben Martin is likely lost for the season.
The talented end from Ohio hurt his left knee Saturday night during a Vols' scrimmage. Tests were performed Sunday, and more tests are scheduled for Monday, but it's believed Martin has suffered a torn ACL.
Martin, a PARADE All-American coming out of Cincinnati's La Salle High School, had impressed coaches during fall camp and put himself in position to see possibly see some snaps this fall.
