HOUSTON (AP) -- Houston's Cedric Killings was able to stand in a hospital today and doctors are confident he'll soon be walking. The defensive tackle is recovering after he suffered a fractured vertebra in his neck during the Texans' loss to Indianapolis yesterday.
Killings was unable to move his arms and legs shortly after the injury but has since regained movement according to treating neurosurgeon Dr. Rob Parrish. However, Parrish says Killings continue to experience weakness in both hands and his left arm.
